African people are not only heading towards development but they are also coming up as the face for corporate social responsibilities towards subscribers, recently, Lonestar Cell MTN presented many prizes to its subscribers who in the past registered for its campaign i.e. Do Your Time. Liberia’s one of the renowned GSM companies, MTN stepped ahead providing numerous gifts to its customers such as a travel opportunity to Dubai, Brazil, United Kingdom or United States of America. According to Abraham Daramie, Marketing Officer, the campaign is envisioned to empower Liberians, especially its subscribers to explore countries of their choice, at the expense of Lonestar Cell MTN inclusive of lodging, hotel bills and cash prize of US$1000 for shopping. To be a part of the campaign, MTN availed the digitalized way for subscribers to text “WIN” to the short code 3232 and use US$5.00 scratch card or more per week to participate in the campaign. Also, MTN is said to give refrigerators, petroleum products, 32 inch plasma televisions and DSTV sets with one month subscription together with new state of the art Samsung phones

Many subscribers got lucky during the campaign and won numerous prizes like 10 gallons of gas coupons from Aminata Service station, refrigerator, eight Samsung phones, television, and two sets of DSTV. One of the lucky subscriber, Fatta Konneh, encouraged other MTN subscribers to participate in “Do Your Time” campaign to take the opportunity and test their luck.
