Burkina Faso Singapore Business Forum 2014

The Government of Burkina Faso with support from the World Bank is organizing a very high level investment forum titled Burkina Faso Singapore Business Forum 2014. The Forum is scheduled to take place on Thursday April 24, 2014, in the Ball Room of the Conrad Centennial Hotel, Singapore.

The priority projects of the Burkinabe government which will award an opening for investment will be exhibited in this forum. No doubt, it will prove to be a brilliant opportunity to interact with the Burkinabe High Authorities to debate about these projects.

In an exclusive interview to Indo Africa Times, Ambassador of Burkina Faso to India, H.E. Mr. Idriss Raoua OUEDRAOGO said, “some of the major projects that will be showcased are: the Growth Pole at Bagré which was designated to be the primary source of growth because of its high potential for agribusiness, horticulture, animal husbandry, fish farming and production of staple crops, Hydroelectric and irrigation projects, development of a multimodal dry port at Ouagadougou, establishment of a pharmaceutical plant, milling unit and tomato and mango processing plant.

From the land of Honest People, H.E. Mr. Blaise COMPAORE himself will be leading the event. Accompanying him on this very senior delegation will be many senior Ministers of the Cabinet.

The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is the apex business chamber that champs the interests of the Singapore business community in trade, investment and industrial relations.

It epitomizes 21,000 companies, as well as key local and foreign business chambers, that put up meaningfully to the Singapore economy.
