Oil company invests over 20 billion kwanzas in social projects

african social projectsCabinda Gulf Oil Company Limited (CABGOC) invested in the last two years 21 billion kwanzas in social projects of 18 provinces of the country, informed the general director of the company for human resources, Cesaltino Matias Pedro.

Speaking to ANGOP, at Luanda International Fair (Filda), Cesaltino Matias Pedro, stated that the investments were for programmes of development and corporative responsibility.

The source said that in partnership with associates of block 0 (zero) and 14, schools were built, teachers and students received training, among other actions that were organised such as programmes for teachers and students training.

During the period in reference, said the source, the support was extended to farmers, fishermen, small business owners and entrepreneurs.

The source stressed that the great social projects of the oil company are connected to the sectors of education, health and agriculture.
