This
past weeakend saw celebrities and journalists participating in
activities of fitness and wellness towards staying healthy and fit for
the year 2015.
This
comes as an initiative from Mr. Kwame Sakyiamah, a.k.a Lexis Bill, of
Joy FM and host of “Drive Time show. Obssessed with creating awareness
about the apparent increase in cardiovascular related deaths, especially
of young people, Lexis launched the 2015 fitness campaig.
Speaking
in an interview with the paper, Lexis Bill observed that, this is his
personal initiative towards a promoting wellness for Ghanaians,
especially young individuals to be exercise cautious.
“Most
young people died last year through High Blood Pressure. Exercise is a
means of living a healthy life style. Everybody needs to be pushed to
take a step forward towards being motivated to take up exercise as their
life style.” he stressed.
Mr. Bill said that, the initiative is an annual campaign which would be in collaboration with corporate Ghana.
