Indian donates Tata’s to Seychelles People’s Defence Forces further strengthening friendly relations

In a ceremony at the Seychelles People’s Defence Forces headquarters, outgoing Indian High Commissioner to Seychelles, Thangrula Darlong, presented the Chief of the Defence Forces, Brigadier Leopold Payet two military grade Tata suburban vehicles on behalf of the Republic of India.

High Commissioner Darlong described the relationship between Seychelles and India as one of friendship and this latest donation serves as a genuine example of that close collaboration in areas relating to defence and security.

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jean- Paul Adam was given the honour of officially putting key to ignition and starting the vehicles.
